Public sentiment can be won by associating with the "best interest of something," usually children. Courts, lawyers, judges and society offers no defense against "in the best interest." For the lawyers of ABA, "best interest" is synonymous with "self interest." The ABA uses the media very effectively to promote and synchronize "self interest" and what better way than annual conventions, complete with the latest media technology.
Close to 20,000 lawyers and their families representing the American Bar Association and its affiliates were predicted to swell the population of Toronto for one week when the association's 120th Annual Meeting convened on July 30, 1998.
They stayed in 25 hotels. Members attended some of the more than 2,400 meetings and events taking place in and around the Toronto area at the Convention Centre, hotels, restaurants, museums, clubs, law firms, on boats and more.
The ABA registrations indicate that this was one of the best-attended meetings in its history. More than 45 international guests from 35 countries were present, joining public officials and leaders of the legal profession who were participating in programs and events during the week-long meeting. Have you ever wondered, why the United States is quickly dissolving our Constitution in favor of other country's legal systems? The ill effects of bad government by bad lawyers and judges gravitates across the continents.
Why do lawyers and judges (ABA members) attend the ABA EXPO?
The ABA EXPO provides an excellent forum for ABA members to view the latest in legal technology, products and services available to the legal industry. Unscrupulous lawyers and judges learn how to bilk their clients in the most efficient and technologically advanced means available. ABA membership services were also available with benefit providers showcasing the latest in money making products and services exclusive to ABA members.
According to "Government Computer News, August 24, 1998," tops on the list of potential gold mining was the "legal aspects of date code, computer failures." The crowd of lawyers and judges were equally divided among those who hope year 2000 (Y2K,) issues will yield a bonanza of lawsuits, those positioning themselves to defend them and those who counsel clients to fix their systems and avoid the whole thing. The government estimates that the Y2K problem will cost American taxpayers $5.4 billion. No doubt, lawyers will get a huge portion of the money.
Four semi trailers moved materials into the Convention Centre on Saturday, July 25. Other logistics for the meeting include shipment from ABA offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C., and from various printers, of more than 125,000 pounds of materials. Equipment, including 16 computers for word processing and electronic mail, three heavy-duty photocopy machines, 11 fax machines and other office supplies were set up in offices at the convention Centre. The ABA lawyers intend to be well equipped to take over all aspects of the New World Order - American government.
To keep in touch at the Convention Centre, the association installed eight (plus a wireless) special Internet connections, 138 direct dial lines, 29 personal computer lines, nine fax lines, and 170 conference phone units and phone sets. Phone systems were installed at other meeting sites.
The ABA EXPO, featured more than 180 exhibits by more than 115 vendors of legal materials, books, and services. ABA shuttle buses circulate to more than 22 properties in and around Toronto to get attendees to and from their sessions. There were more than 50 tours and ticketed events scheduled for the meeting. Transportation and tours were organized by Congress Canada.
Most non-lawyers are excluded from the convention - the ABA is a secret and clandestine organization. Media representatives must have ABA credentials for admission to ABA's Annual Meeting events and programs. To assist reporters working on deadline, a separate facility for filing stories was available. The filing room was fully equipped with fax machines, phones and PC lines. According to the ABA's Web site, use of this room was restricted to those with government-issued (or equivalent) press credentials.
Why is the government involved in the ABA and what does it take to get a government-issued press credential? Could it be that the government and the ABA are one and the same? What happened to the Legislatures and Congress?
For the first time, Media Relations installed a toll-free phone service to assist reporters who could not be on site. Through a fax-on-demand service, select house resolutions, reports, daily highlights, program changes and other materials were available over this phone line.
Part of the global plan lawyers use to take over all aspects of government is media coverage. Media tactics seem to say, Look at us, the ABA. Look at the good job we do, protecting your rights and making the rules and laws you live by. No, we are not interested in making 40 - 100 times more money for our services than our average clients earn. You can't do without us. The law is to complicated for you to understand.
