My story is classic as far back as 1997 DHS has been harassing me. They closed a case in 1998 because they had nothing and then I moved to Tennessee for a few years because my husband is from there.

When we got back the school called DHS on us because my child is special needs and has behavior issues. The next thing I know the police and DHS is pounding on my door telling me to let them in. My husband opened the door and they pushed their way in and told us having this computer meant we were pedophiles.

They made us sign papers saying they could search our house and if we didn't they were going to get a warrant to tear everything apart and we were going to jail for resisting. They made me call an ambulance to send my son to Maine Medical Center only to be sent to Spring Harbor Hospital a mental institution later on.

During the time he was at the Maine Med they wouldn't let us leave while they checked our house because they said in case they needed to make an arrest.

My son was in Spring Harbor for one month being pumped full of pills. When he got out we had appointments all the time with psychiatrists, an anchor team from the Maine Med. They caused my husband to lose his job. He's still waiting to get his unemployment which is taking along time.

The anchor team tried to put him on medication and DHS tried to force both of us to get a psych evaluation. After the school they sent my son to a camp called Camp Ketcha in Scarborough.

He only went a couple of weeks because one day they called up saying he was having a bad day and they were "restraining" him. He was in the background screaming "let me up you're hurting me". When he came home July 25th he had marks all over him.

We had been called to pick up at Reiche School rather then them dropping him at home per agreement because they couldn't handle his behavior. We then took him to Brighton Medical Center to be seen about these marks and they said we were complaining about a rash but the marks were contusions.

So a week later we took him to the Mercy Hospital where they told us DHS and the police were supposed to be called and they verified what we said in writing and called DHS to let them know it wasn't us who did it. From what I was gathering DHS was going to lay the marks on my husband and I.

On July 26, DHS served me with a court summons for August 13th asking for custody of my son with a case full of hearsay and ridiculous allegations. Saying I wasn't attached to my son and I emotionally abused him. All really vague things about my husband and me.

I have pictures of the marks. These same people who abused my son are trying to take him away and put him in a more abusive situation. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it and any words of support.
