A NightMare In Our Land

It started in February of 2001 until now. Our daughter was questioned at her elementary school about her scratching
and dancing around in class. She has been doing this for a couple of years said the councilor but did not inform
us prior.
The volunteer parent aid questioned our daughter about what was going on. She asked is someone touching you. Our
daughter said, “Yes”. The aid asked who and our daughter said, “My brother.”
The aid then called SOSCF now called DHS. The police came out to our home and our son was home alone for the first
time. They read his Miranda warnings to him and interrogated him without a lawyer or us present asking what did
you do to your sister.
He said, “Nothing” and eventually he wanted them out because, he was scared and frighten of these two larger people.
He then said, “I touched her by accident three different times.”
The police arrested him to the maternal grandparents without reading any Miranda warnings to us. We were angered
by them being there because we know what they do especially to the incest and frighten. They scared and intimidated
our son to a confession.
When he left, he was crying and told us he never touched his sister. During that month, I called up lawyers and
asked what we can do. The lawyers said if you have not gone to court or had some type of documents then you can
bring your son home.
I called up SOSCF 1 month later, stating that if we don't have any paper work or any court appointments for the
case then I guess I can bring home our son. The police came, arrested me for resisting arrest, and took our daughter.
We went to court the judge said we could not see our children. Our daughter was placed in foster care for about
3 months and during that time; she was abused by a boy that was 13 years of age.
We went to the citizen review board. It was not going good. We left and I yelled at the wall outside of the SOSCF
office. I know it looks bad.
I have been abused by the system before and I can never seem to find a solution. We went to court again the children
are wards of the state now. I cried in court while my wife was strong. We cannot see the children without supervision
and our phone calls have to be supervised.
The communication has been broken with the maternal grandparents because they blame us for this. We have been trying
to get maternal grandparents to mediation; they are hard to press because the maternal side of the family blames
us for this.
They have gone out of their way to get lawyer and to hurt my wife's feelings for example, my wife called the maternal
mother and said, “SOSCF has taken our daughter away the maternal mother said, “I am glad that both kids are away
from you and that you are a bad mother.” There are so far seven lawyers involved now with two children.
We have done every thing the court wants us to do. It is not enough. We have only worked backwards. We are leaving
out many other details out that happened. We have missed their birthdays and the holidays. The maternal grandparents
are keeping the .....
