History:

Case #1 - filed in March 1993 - settled with Agreement

Case #2 - filed in April 1999 - settle with Agreement

Case #3 - filed in April 2004 - ongoing

On 11 May 2004 the Alabama Assistant Attorney General, representing Defendant Maddox, one of the defendants in Case #2, filed a frivolous MOTION FOR SANCTIONS against James Blackston and Bradley Barber because Case #3 included Maddox, a defendant in Case #2.

On 11 May 2004 District Judge Harold Albritton ORDERED James Blackston and Bradley Barber to show cause, if any there be, on or before 21 May 2004 why the motion should not be granted. Blackston and Barber may go to jail for CONTEMPT OF COURT!

On 19 May 2004, James Blackston and Bradley Barber responded, denying all assertions in Defendant Maddox's MOTION FOR SANCTIONS.

On 24 May 2004, District Judge Harold Albritton, after reviewing Case #3, issued an ORDER denying Defendant Maddox's MOTION FOR SANCTIONS. (See judges ORDER)
