All concerned citizens should be aware that most of the individuals in the Department of Justice are LAWYERS. America's lawyers operate the only legal monopoly in America. Lawyers protect each other inside the closely monitored, secret and clandestine society. Lawyer's "unauthorized practice of law" prohibits anyone other than a lawyer from assisting the poor in legal matters, even in simple matters such as typing legal papers.

Power and influence grabbing is the primary goal of the lawyer societies. The secret lawyer societies regularly hold meetings in all parts of the world to further their goals. The American Bar Association's (ABA) Expo ‘98 was recently held in Toronto, Canada. The ABA is busy assisting Russia in formulating a new Constitution. The new Russian Constitution will certainly have provisions to protect a newfound Russian lawyering monopoly.

Today, as in ages past, we are not without tragic proof that the exalted power of some governments to punish manufactured crime dictatorially is the handmaid of tyranny. America's courts are suppose to stand against any winds that blow, as havens of refuge for those who might otherwise suffer because they are helpless, weak, outnumbered, or because they are non-conforming victims of prejudice and public excitement. Chambers v. Florida, 309 U.S. 227, 241 (1940.)

The natural progression, where lawyers control governments, is to gradually create a totalitarian form of government in which the political authority exercises absolute and centralized control over all aspects of life. The individual is subordinated to the state, and opposing political and cultural expression is suppressed. Today, that goal is partially realized by States wrestling control of our children and raising them to conform to state's standards. A practice, until a few years ago, occurred only in communist countries.

It's just a matter of time until America will be under siege by lawyers in the very same way the colonies suffered under King George.

Barr obtained the information from a confidential source within federal law enforcement. Among other things, the Department's "wish list" for new authority includes:

* A vastly expanded definition of terrorism to include domestic crimes having no relationship to terrorism.

* The power to seize commercial transportation assets for federal use.

* The ability to commander personnel from other federal agencies without reimbursement.

* Expanded wiretap authority to allow "roving" wiretaps, and wiretaps without any court authority.

* Enlarged asset forfeiture provisions to allow the FBI to seize personal property in both criminal and civil matters.

* The establishment of a permanent "FBI Police Force."

* Loosening of Posse Comitatus restrictions to allow more military involvement in domestic law enforcement.

* Authority to force telephone and Internet companies to divulge information on their customers.

"These requests belong in some bizarre conspiracy novel, not in serious legislative documents being circulated at the top levels of federal law enforcement. These proposals represent a sneak attack on the most cherished principles of our democracy. If they become a part of our law, freedom and privacy in America will be permanently and severely diminished," said Barr.

Barr also noted the Department and the FBI are "shopping" this wish list in an effort to get the items placed in a spending measure without hearings or debate.
