Lawyers, attorney generals and corrupt lawyer-politicians dominated the 1901 Alabama Constitutional Convention. Evidence abounds greedy lawyers and politicians gerrymandered the ratification process.

Alabama is trying to rewrite its 100 year old constitution. Again, as in 1901, self-serving lawyers attempt to take over the constitution rewrite process. Will the citizens of Alabama allow special interest to pollute constitutional reform? Don't be fooled, the lawyers and constitutional rewrite advocate's real intent is to increase your taxes through the constitutional rewrite. In the process many basic civil and human rights will be at risk.
